Alyssa & Shawn said “I Do!”
It was a beautiful courtyard ceremony at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. The sun was out and shining – something we didn’t expect. The weather forecast on Friday showed showers, but wouldn’t you know it stayed sunny until 6:05PM Saturday evening. The happy couple got married in the courtyard in front of friends and family.
The aisle was lined with shepherd’s hooks (#21) holding up bouquets of roses, stock, and Queen Anne’s lace.

The bridal bouquet was a gorgeous clutch of maroon dahlias, pink, peach, and white roses, fluffy white astilbe, and assorted greens.

Her bridesmaids carried bouquets of peach, pink, and white roses as well as fluffy peach astilbe and eucalyptus.

At the reception, the King’s table was adorned with the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets and the vases of flowers that lined the aisle.

Guests’ tables were adorned by centerpieces of white hydrangea, eucalyptus, and the same peach, pink, and white roses used in the bouquets.

And the icing on the cake – was their actual cake! We decorated their traditional elegant four tier cake with pink peonies, white and pink roses, and upright ruscus.

We were happy that the couple’s sunny courtyard wedding dream became a reality. They were a pleasure to work with and we were honored to play a part in this important day. We wish Alyssa & Shawn all the best and many years of happiness!
