This summer we have had the pleasure of helping several spontaneous/elopement weddings. Love in the air is quite the force to be reckoned with.

This past week we met on of the most interesting couples. Laura & Steve, two competitive bodybuilders, became Mr & Mrs at Pittsburgh’s scenic West End Overlook park. Competing and getting married in the same week made for an adventurous and exciting trip to Pittsburgh. We provided Laura with a vibrant pink bouquet that contained roses, calla lilies, and gerber daisies. This couple my look fierce on the outside but they were sweethearts! We were so happy to help!

Regardless of whether the couple spends a year planning, or only a few short days, what really matters is the love and commitment they share. For some couples, the decision to elope just makes sense. This was the case for our civil ceremony that took place at the District Magistrate’s office. For this bride, we provided a soft and feminine blush and ivory bouquet. A combination of roses, lisianthus, and calla lilies created this romantic look.

Are we making you want to elope? Be aware, there is a three day waiting period for marriage licenses filed in Pennsylvania. District Magistrates, Judges, and Mayors as well as religious officiants are all able to marry a couple on short notice. We can have a bouquet ready for you quickly also. Happy Eloping!
