2018 – “The Hurrier We Go…”

“Sometimes, the Hurrier we go, the Behinder we get!”  That’s a quote from my beloved Grandma.  Today, it seems somehow fitting.

Since the spring wedding season took off at a full-blown gallop in April, we have been so busy producing flowers and taking care of events that we’ve become very behind in posting some of recent bouquets.

Here are some beauties that needed sharing:

The Rush of Spring 2018 Brides

Wedding season creeps up on us – with little cat feet. Soft, gentle, one at a time. Then warmer weather breaks, and many, many weddings & events begin to happen. Here’s a sampling of bouquets we have created in just the last month.

Blush, ivory & white are still some of our most requested colors, but occasionally someone goes bold! We will create whatever you want!

One Last Hooray!

As 2017 drew to a close, we were somewhat nostalgic, yet very happy for our year end brides.

Our 12/29/17 bride chose a very full but traditional look to compliment her long sleeved lace dress. Sahara roses, Patience garden roses, Vendella roses, red hypericum berries, and gold eucalyptus accents came together nicely into a loose round shape.

Andrea, our Saturday bride carried some of the same flowers but also included pink mini callas, maroon amaranthus , and dark mums. Rose Gold was the accent color which displayed nicely in the pink accented ballroom.

One of our New Year’s Eve brides chose to be married under our brass arch with similar flowers. After the ceremony concluded and pictures were finished, the flowers were transferred to the head table.

So, as 2017 drew to a close, we gather one last time to wish all of our 2017 brides and grooms a heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for your new lives ahead. Thank you all for allowing Parkway Florist to be part of your special day.    And we look forward to what 2018 has in store for us as well!
