Kara and Brett’s wedding on 8/25/2018 was all about blush, ivory, and white colors. Mini calla lilies and blush pink roses were part of her bouquet. The same color scheme, of white hydrangea and blush pink roses provided lush, full center pieces for the middle of the guests’ tables. Kara’s 12 bridesmaids carried white hydrangea, which softly stood out against their blush pink dresses.
The band played well into the night. We hope that a great time was had by all, and wish the best of luck to our newlyweds!
Kelly got married in a heat wave, and her flowers matched the heat! Pictured here are Kelly with her bridal bouquet of mixed summery flowers, as well as two of her bridesmaids whose short, fun, teal dresses were complimented by more bright summery flowers (Bouquet 844). Kelly loves color!
St. John Capistran Church in Upper St. Clair was the ceremony setting, while a wonderful and very colorful reception was hosted at the Pittsburgh Airport Mariott. Each reception table contained a beautiful mixed vase of bright summer flowers (Center Piece 557).
Congratulations to the newlyweds! Thank you for allowing us to join in the fun on your “best day ever!”
Carina and Anthony’s wedding at St Gabriel’s Church in Whitehall, PA was the 2nd wedding in recent years for this family.
Carina carried a traditional cascade of all white flowers.
Her Matron of Honor was her older sister, and our former bride! She wore lavender and carried a bouquet with lavender roses, white Gerber daisies, and other white flowers.
The bridesmaids wore mint dresses, and carried bouquets of pale yellow Gerber daisies, white roses, and other white flowers.
The ballroom at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott where the reception was held was tastefully decorated with alternating centerpieces. One held white Dendrobium orchids, while the other had white hydrangea and lavender roses.
The V-E-R-Y tall 5 tier cake was accented with white hydrangea.
Congratulations to Carina and Anthony! Thank you for allowing us to help you on your big day.
Walking in the Rose Garden at Phipps is just like going into Burnett’s The Secret Garden. We were first greeted by fragrant, delicate pink and white Astilbe, Hostas, and other lush greens. White garden chairs were set up in the center of the Rose Garden for the ceremony.
A wreath of flowers circled around a candle-lit Hurricane globe, greeting guests as they retrieved their place cards for dinner.
Our bride, Courtney, and her bridesmaids carried lush bouquets of ivory roses and peonies.
The romantic centerpieces carried forth the same lush tones with roses, hydrangea, gypsy dianthus, peonies and flowing greens.
The cake was simply decorated, light pink spray roses adding a breath of color, and white peonies softening the traditional white form.
We were enchanted to be a part of our bride’s special day! In spite of the Kenny Chesney concert, the Journey/ Def Leppard concert and high humidity with threatening rain, a grand time was had by all who were part of Courtney and Steve’s beautiful day.
This summer we have had the pleasure of helping several spontaneous/elopement weddings. Love in the air is quite the force to be reckoned with.
This past week we met on of the most interesting couples. Laura & Steve, two competitive bodybuilders, became Mr & Mrs at Pittsburgh’s scenic West End Overlook park. Competing and getting married in the same week made for an adventurous and exciting trip to Pittsburgh. We provided Laura with a vibrant pink bouquet that contained roses, calla lilies, and gerber daisies. This couple my look fierce on the outside but they were sweethearts! We were so happy to help!

Regardless of whether the couple spends a year planning, or only a few short days, what really matters is the love and commitment they share. For some couples, the decision to elope just makes sense. This was the case for our civil ceremony that took place at the District Magistrate’s office. For this bride, we provided a soft and feminine blush and ivory bouquet. A combination of roses, lisianthus, and calla lilies created this romantic look.
Are we making you want to elope? Be aware, there is a three day waiting period for marriage licenses filed in Pennsylvania. District Magistrates, Judges, and Mayors as well as religious officiants are all able to marry a couple on short notice. We can have a bouquet ready for you quickly also. Happy Eloping!
We are only half way through the month of May, and already our shop has been whirling with beautiful wedding bouquets.
One of our May 13th brides loved color. Bold and beautiful, her bouquet (shown on the left) featured white mini calla lilies, white roses, coral roses, and dark blue delphinium accents. Her bridesmaids showed off their long and flowing navy gowns with our all coral rose bouquets.
Cream and white combinations also continue to be popular and classic:
Our next most popular colors this month seem to be combinations of pink and white or white and purple.
Especially beautiful peonies have continued to be popular.
Also, Cascades are back! This is a classic style that has been rediscovered.
Classic red roses are perpetually in style. Making a stunning statement against black bridesmaids dresses or a white/ivory bridal gown.
In our ever changing flowers world, May continues to bring us many soft pastels and the occasional bold pop of color. It keeps us on our toes, and makes us look forward to every bridal client that we service.
