The weather in March can be unpredictable, but St. Patrick’s Day this year proved to be sunny and bright, just a little cool. Perfect conditions for an early (almost) Spring Wedding!
Parkway Florist created the flowers for three beautiful weddings this holiday weekend.
Megan’s bouquet of light peach garden roses, white spray roses, and Eskimo roses, accented with dusty miller and silver dollar eucy. was her perfect dream bouquet. Megan & her fiance got married in a small, quiet ceremony, with a private dinner for family and friends held at the Walnut Grill in Bridgeville.
Amanda’s bouquet, consisting of red roses, purple lisianthus and sahara roses was an incorporation of her bridesmaids colors – red and purple. Amanda carried the colored flowers while her bridesmaids carried the more subdued cream and ivory flowers.
Kathryn and Drew provided our most fun wedding. With four children in the wedding party, one cuter than the next, how could you not smile? The bridesmaids, dressed in Navy, carried white and cream roses with white wax flower accents. Kathryn carried white mini callas, Eskimo roses and dark blue delphinium accents (which matched her shoes!) A strand of pearls from Kathryn’s grandmother were used as a part of her bouquet wrap. The ceremony backdrop was comprised of our rod iron candle lit screens and four floral pieces, which were then re-purposed to the reception. Lanterns lined the isle, and were re-used as part of the centerpiece decor at the reception.
Thanks to all our wonderful brides and grooms for choosing Parkway Florist to be part of your the best day of your life. Congratulations to all – and continued happiness!
