What Does Green Mean?

Today we’re exploring colors again, and this time we wanted to learn about the color green. Here’s what we found:

The color green can be relaxing, soothing, and calming. Green is associated with nature, growth, meditation, fertility, and wealth.

From the floral perspective we can look at the color green in two ways: Green Flowers or Green Foliage.

You would probably be surprised to know that there are many varieties of flowers that come in green, and they can create elaborate designs. Green flowers do not have to blend in, they can be eye catching and extravagant just like any other color of flower. The same can be said for greenery. We often encounter many clients that are anti-greens, fearing that excessive greens will distract from the look of their flowers. But this does not have to be true. In fact, greens are used to accentuate a design and create a canvas for the flowers. Without the greens, sometimes flowers can look plain or like they are missing something.

Below we have selected some uses of both green flowers, and nice greenery that we feel showcase the powers of the color green, check it out:

Do these flowers leave you feeling green with envy? Let us know what you think!
