This weekend brought us another round of white flowers as our brides endured more HOT August weather. Below you are seeing the bride’s bouquet which included fluffy white hydrangeas, creamy white garden roses, pink sophie roses, and white mini gerbera daisies. It smelled just as good as it looks! Her bridesmaids carried more fluffy white hydrangeas accented with creamy white garden roses as well.
This ceremony took place at Heinz Memorial Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus. We designed a soft and romantic arrangement that provided a canvas for the unity candle. Also shown below, is the Groom’s boutonniere which was wrapped with gold ribbon for a polished look.
The reception took place at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel. We used a collection of cylinder vases with floating candles to provide ambiance at the place card table. These were gathered around the bride and groom’s initials with a white hydrangea arrangement in the center.
The use of white in this wedding gave a classic and elegant feel while still complimenting the personal touches that were added. Congrats to the bride and groom!
